Makeup That Saved My Skin: Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil Free Makeup
I would never have thought that I would be able to say makeup cleared my skin, but I am able to now. I have been using Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil Free Makeup for about a month now, and I absolutely love it. When I first started using this makeup I feared that I was going to break out like crazy, but I didn't!
At the time that I first started using this product my breakouts were pretty bad. I kept getting an Acne cyst on my chin area and my right cheek kept breaking out with smaller pimples. I am all cleared up now but as for my right cheek I still have some battle scars from that and I have to find something to lighten those dark spots up.
After two weeks of using this foundation I saw an improvement. My pimples didn't just vanish just like that or anything but I noticed that they healed up rather rapidly. I give credit to my whole skin care regimen, but the makeup definitely plays an important role, because it is not just ordinary makeup its Acne medicated with salicylic acid.
By week 3 and 4 is when I saw the transformation, and I have been using this product ever since. Not once has it clogged my pores and left me broken out. This product does what it says and it is a major Acne fighter. My only criticism is, they need to make more makeup for darker complexions. I find myself having to use a dab of my mothers Loreal foundation that is in a darker shade so I don't look like a ghost or too washed out. Other than that good job Neutrogena!

Petite Marie Organics Black Mineral Acne Purifying Mask Review
Ever since I began reading Julie Gabriel's The Green Beauty Guide, I have been dying to try out her products. After visiting her online store, the first product that caught my interest was the Petite Marie Organics Black Mineral Acne Purifying Mask.
Before giving my review today, I have been using the product for about a month now and it has become a part of my skin care regimen. In order to give you the best review possible I thought this would be the smarter route. Sometimes we try products out for a week or two and it seems to be doing a good job, but then after some more time the results can be disappointing. However, this has become one of my weapons against fighting my Acne.

My experience with the Purifying Mask
- I am not going to lie the smell of the product caught me off guard, to be honest it doesn't smell too pleasant.
- The texture of the product is pretty icky, while I am comfortable handling it with my hands now before I was using a wooden stick to mix and apply the mask.
- It's a bit messy if you are not too careful.
- Once it is on your face it does feel quite refreshing and I enjoy the lift it gives my skin.
- When I first started using this product my skin was breaking out extremely bad, I even had a few Acne cysts, but the mask did a good job of taking these bad boys out.
- Now my skin is blemish free and I give credit to my weekly applications of this product.
- I would definitely order this product again, but I would only order it from a re-seller being that the company is based in Switzerland and the time it takes to deliver to the U.S. is way too long.
This product is a great buy for those who enjoy Eco friendly or all natural products. There is not a stitch of synthetic ingredients in this product, all ingredients are natural.

5 Products that Saved My Skin, Acne No More
Unless, you have had Acne most people do not understand how bad it feels. You try to hide it by swooping your hair over your face or piling on the makeup but it just does not work. Then to top it off people believe it is your fault that you suffer from Acne. The most common assumptions are that you have a bad diet or you are not washing your face enough.
~xoxoxoxoxo Long Post But Bare with Me xoxoxoxo Its Worth It. ~
While a good diet will improve your Acne if you have a bad case of it or at least for some of us it does not eliminate the problem. You still have to suffer from the unpredictable pimple popping up when you are off to an interview or on vacation. The exact time that you are hoping you will not have a breakout is usually when it likely to happen. Oh and the whole don't wash your face enough assumption is just insulting!
Acne does major damage to self-confidence. It may sound trivial to some, but when my breakouts were bad I didn’t want to go anywhere. I didn’t want to see anyone or do anything because I simply felt an overwhelming sense of embarrassment. Over the years I have tried different solutions, some of them worked temporarily and some did absolutely nothing. Even though I was frustrated with the lack of success with finding a long term solution to my Acne I have finally found a regimen that is keeping my skin clear.
I have a YouTube video in which I talk about my experience with Solodyn, however I decided to ditch the meds. I didn't want to be stuck taking medicine for the rest of my life over Acne so I was determined to find a way to fight it without the use of a pill. Especially since my Acne is moderate and I do not suffer from a severe case of Acne I was determined to find a way. I found that I do still have to stick to dermatologist prescribed topical medication, but I am proud to say my regimen does not include the use of a pill.
Products:
Walgreens 3 Step Acne System (Knock off Proactiv System)
Atralin (Doctor Prescribed Topical Medication)
Aveeno Lotion (When Skin is Really Dry)
Routine:
Morning: Wash face with Walgreen's Benzoyl Peroxide Wash
Tone skin with Walgreen's Toner
Apply Walgreens Benzoyl Peroxide Lotion
If my skin is dry a dollop of Aveeno
Neutrogena Skin Clearing Oil Free Makeup
Evening:
Wash and Tone with Walgreens Products
Apply Atralin for bedtime
2 x a week treat myself to Petite Marie's Black Mineral Purifying Acne Mask
And that’s my Routine! Goodbye Acne pills and hello clear skin : ) Finding a routine takes some time for some people but a solution is out there. For me it took 11 years, from age 13 to the age of 24.
